The Community Service Committee manages a number of charitable events during the year.  These include a Thanksgiving Luncheon for Hingham senior residents, a December Holiday Party for the South Shore Coalition for the Homeless (in conjunction with other organizations),  a dinner for residents of Rosie's Place in Boston, and a springtime Senior Luncheon, among smaller endeavors.  Other fundraising efforts are in the works for Womenade and the South Shore Hospice.  In addition the committee co-hosts semi-annual blood drives, and coordinates Hingham Mothers' Club drivers to deliver Meals on Wheels weekly to homebound senior residents in Hingham.
