Friendship:
The Friendship Committee serves by responding to significant events in the lives of Hingham Mothers' Club members and their families. This may include providing for some food or flowers for members and posting baby announcements in the Club newsletter. The Committee also coordinates a monthly Book Club and occasional cooking classes. These opportunities are posted in the monthly newsletter. Overall, these events offer fun and easy ways to meet new people.
Couples Gourmet is designed as a themed dinner party that will take place in various houses throughout the town. Some people will host, some will come as guests, but everyone is cooking the same dinner! The hosts are all given a packet of recipes and allocates who will be cooking what. Dinner includes three courses and wine selection. This is a great way to try new recipes with friends, old and new. Look for an announcement and sign-up form after the holidays.
