For the past several years the HMC has taken part in the Friends of the Homeless Christmas Project.This is a gift drive to benefit the homeless of the South Shore. We're looking for Mothers' Club donors who would be willing to purchase gifts for those in need. Wish lists are provided for each gift recipient and donors purchase three gifts per person, totaling $60-$70. It's humbling each year to read the wish lists which often times include toiletries, undergarments, and warm clothes. This year, more Massachusetts children and families than ever are experiencing homelessness, and those in our local neighborhoods will find the holiday season especially difficult.
