Each year, the Hingham Mothers’ Club awards scholarships to high school seniors residing in Hingham who will be entering an accredited college/university for a two- or four-year course of study and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).

For 2012, we will award scholarships to several Hingham High School students. Hingham High School will award one of these scholarships on our behalf. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and community service. Special attention will be given to the essay. Typed essays are easiest to read. A committee will meet and choose the winners anonymously.

Interested applicants should complete the application provided. In addition, please include a copy of your high school transcript and a letter of reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications must be postmarked or e-mailed by April 13, 2012.
